Came on a Saturday morning to celebrate birthday for a friend. Pro-Tip : make a reservation! Service - for it being busy, our waitress was attentive and gave us some good recommendations. Food- we both had the cheddar biscuit brekkie sandwich and I see why it's a popular item. The biscuit was fluffy and not dry as some would expect! The tomato chutney was different but added a nice flavor to the sandwich. We also split the pancake classic and they were average. Nice and fluffy but would ask for butter to add and bit more flavor to it. Drinks- i had the mimosa flight and was not upset with it. A fan favorite but their other drink options are all good as well!

I've visited Citizen's of Montrose twice now, and both times I've been thoroughly impressed. They do get crowded on weekends so I would definitely recommend reservations, as then you're seated promptly. The food is fresh and delicious--some of the best I've had in a while. My friend ordered the classic breakfast, with hash browns and an avocado, and I ordered the fried chicken sandwich, and a latte. My friend loved his meal and finished every last bit of it, saying it was a hit with him. However, my fried chicken sandwich was lacking, I found it a bit dry and couldn't finish. I had intended to let it go and just try something different next time. To my surprise, our attentive server noticed I hadn't touched it and kindly removed it from our check. That gesture was incredibly thoughtful and shows just how observant and caring the staff is. The restaurant was clean and organized, and the staff was friendly and welcoming, taking great care of us throughout our visit. We highly recommend this spot and are definitely planning to return!

We went on a very busy Saturday mid day(brunch) we didn't have reservations but got seated very quickly. Impressed. Tight quarters in between tables. Services was fast and goods Our food was fresh and flavorful Blueberry muesli- the oats where cook really good, not dry or soupy. Fresh fruit and coconut all work well 10/10 Smoke salmon Benny- salmon wasn't over smoky, salty or fishy tasting. The poached eggs was good perfectly 10/10 Cast iron chorizo bake- very earth flavors that were not heavy on the palette. The cheese added a nice creams texture. The toasted bread was a great spoon. 10/10 Whipped Paloma 10/10

Didn't think to make a reservation since this place has been open for a while.... Was able to be seated in less than 10 minutes BUT it was outside. So definitely ensure your seats prior to visiting! My food was so tasty and fresh! Loved the Yuzu fries. Their espresso martini was also very delicious! The chorizo scramble dish was good but very little in portions. The Aussie coffee... could have skipped. Overall it was great and I will be back with a reservation!
